I used to walk the 10 blocks to school on these thick blue/grey slate sidewalks...under a canopy of tress...daydreaming, hurrying, worrying, wondering, imagining... on the way to and from school...in sun, rain , snow, and falling leaves crunching at my feet... trying not to step on the cracks cause you know what "that" means.... Now it's my daughters turn... sad she doesn't get that alone time to ponder...to take that walk... but still, it is time ..........to go to school.
