soo cute back to school fashion this fall, check it out....

Sophia has to wear a uniform...tooo cute! BUT! i couldn't resist the shoes....look here...they offer colored shoe laces which Sophia was crazy about...we loved the HOT ORANGE just for something fun....do u remember shoe shopping for school??

when it comes to back to school time I always dream of a bouquet of pencils... LOVE IT!

LITTLE SCHOOL HOUSE

Sophia is going to a new school this year and we are all VERY excited....

I think it is what we have been looking for...charming little old school house, small class size, farm animals, room to grow, room for a child's imagination, a place to learn and be challenged.... it makes me want to go all over again...oh the possibilities....

SIDEWALKS...

I used to walk the 10 blocks to school on these thick blue/grey slate sidewalks...under a canopy of tress...daydreaming, hurrying, worrying, wondering, imagining... on the way to and from school...in sun, rain , snow, and falling leaves crunching at my feet... trying not to step on the cracks cause you know what "that" means.... Now it's my daughters turn... sad she doesn't get that alone time to ponder...to take that walk... but still, it is time ..........to go to school.

I so used to do this with my friends when we were little-

sell painted sea shells to the tourists walking to the beach-

when we were back home visiting i saw this little stand...

but the children were M.I.A.
